Meaning of the Name
"Poshlost" / пошлость is a Russian word for something shallow and artificial that insists on its own importance. The knockoff that calls itself a classic. The empty thing with a story attached. We named the brand after it on purpose.
The Brand
Poshlost is made in Los Angeles — cut and sewn locally, in small batches, with real attention to weight and structure. We could call it elevated, considered, built to last. Everyone does. What we'll say instead: it's made well, and we didn't cut any corners.
The Products
Patterned from scratch, not a blank with a logo printed on it. Heavyweight 12 oz French terry, garment-dyed in the piece, hardware tooled for the run, distressed by hand. No two come out exactly the same.
